Frequently Asked Questions
How are prices for Tours determined?
Pricing is based on two factors:
Total Potential Attendance – We add up the capacity of every venue on the tour.
Which Band’s Playlist You Choose – Each band’s slot on the tour determines the rate. For example, on the same tour, a headliner’s playlist has a higher rate than the opener’s playlist because it plays later in the night when more fans are in the room.
What makes us different from other play listing apps?
Most playlisting services focus only on digital streams. Tour Soundtrack goes beyond online listening by placing your music directly in front of live, in-person audiences who are already fans of your style.
Here’s how we stand out:
-
Live Event Exposure – Your track plays every night on tour between set changes, reaching engaged fans in real time.
-
Multi-Channel Promotion – In addition to live plays, your song is featured on a companion Spotify playlist, supported by digital ads and social media promotion.
-
Targeted Audience Match – You choose the tours whose crowds are most likely to connect with your sound.
-
Radio-Style Drops – Songs are introduced with audio drops so fans know exactly who they’re hearing.
-
Performance Tracking – See when and where your song was played with our live map, plus Shazam counts from curious new listeners.
How can I check the status of my song on tour?
Will there be any regulations on anything? I.E. - can you buy more than one song placement for the same tour? Is there anything that would make a song not acceptable or qualified for a specific tour?
We keep things simple, but there are a few guidelines to ensure the best experience for tours, artists, and fans:
Multiple Placements – Yes, you can buy more than one song placement for the same tour if space is available.
Content Standards – All songs must meet basic quality standards and be free of anything that violates copyright, contains hate speech, or promotes illegal activity.
Tour Fit – Songs must be a reasonable match for the tour’s audience. If a track is wildly off-genre or doesn’t fit the event’s vibe, we may recommend a different tour to help you get better results.
These rules make sure every playlist stays valuable to both fans and artists, and that your music reaches the right audience.
